DIE RICH MUSIC is the data controller for personal data collected on this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, email address, subject and your message.
- Alerts and mailing list: your email address, what you signed up for (for example MTM or a specific artist) and when you gave consent.
- Abuse protection: when you send a form, we store a hashed value of your IP address for up to one hour to stop spam and attacks. We do not store the IP address itself.
Our hosting provider processes your IP address when the site loads, to deliver the content and protect the site against attacks. We do not use analytics, ad tracking or other tracking technology.
Why, and on what basis
- Answering booking, collaboration and press requests: legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
- Sending release alerts and MTM emails: your consent (article 6(1)(a) and section 15 of the Norwegian Marketing Control Act).
- Protecting the site against abuse: legitimate interest.
Signing up for alerts and the mailing list is for people aged 13 or older.
How long we keep data
Messages from the contact form are deleted when the matter is closed, and at the latest after 13 months, unless they lead to an agreement. Email addresses on the alert and mailing list are kept until you unsubscribe. The value linked to your IP address is deleted automatically after one hour.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. The website and form data are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and browser storage
We set no tracking cookies. If you switch language, your choice is saved in a cookie called lang for 12 months, so the site opens in the right language next time. It is only set when you choose a language yourself.
The video thumbnails are stored on our own server, so your browser does not contact YouTube before you choose to open a video. Links to YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat open on their sites, and their privacy rules apply there.
The only other cookie on the domain is a login cookie for administrators. It is strictly necessary, is only set when an administrator logs in, and expires after eight hours.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or handed over to you. You can also ask us to restrict processing and object to processing based on legitimate interest. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it. Every email from us has an unsubscribe link.
Contact us at mgmt@dierich.no or through the contact form on the front page to use your rights. We reply within 30 days.
If you believe we process your data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, datatilsynet.no.
Changes
We update this policy when we change how we process personal data. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
